Welcome!

Leaps & Sounds Pediatric Therapy is dedicated to providing personalized and effective neurodiversity- affirming speech therapy services. We understand and respect that different types of brains process information and communicate differently. Therefore, we honor and support all forms of communication. Our therapy focuses on the individual needs of each child and utilizes play, sensory, and relationship-based approaches. We are passionate about helping children communicate and thrive!

Speech Therapy is provided using an individualized treatment plan. Communication difficulties are addressed by recognizing each child's unique strengths and challenges, following their lead, attending to sensory regulation, and by equipping family members throughout the therapy process. Sessions often incorporate movement to both accommodate sensory needs, as well as, further promote your child’s engagement. By including their interests and the things that bring them joy into our sessions, we support their communication skills, and empower them to then go share who they are with the world.

Leaps and Sounds Pediatric Therapy recognizes the value of family collaboration. Both parent education and recommendations are provided each session in order to further support their carry-over of skills beyond the clinic. Thank you for choosing this practice and we look forward to partnering with you on this journey!

What Parents Are Saying

“We LOVE Juliana! We have been extremely pleased with our son's progress. Juliana is extremely successful working with him as he has grown and developed over the years. She has always taken a personal interest in him and all he is involved in. Juliana always keeps me updated on the progress of his speech therapy after each session. She keeps me informed and active in his progress with home practice and feedback as well. Not only has our son's speech improved, so has his self-confidence and self-esteem. I am so proud of him! I am extremely happy with the speech therapy he has received over the years from Juliana. We even followed her from one practice to another! He has come out of his shell! I believe that speech has been a positive force in developing his self-confidence and self-esteem."
